Running Diary - Week 2

Yay I’ve finished week 2 of Couch to 5k! This week it was 3 runs - 90secs running, 2mins walking. So slightly longer runs, but longer walking too so it was an easy transition from last week. I can definitely feel my fitness improving slightly as I do actually feel like I could carry on running but I’m going to follow the programme completely as I don’t want to get ahead of myself!

I’ve had bad running conditions on 2 occasions this week, todays run was in the most insane rain but I secretly enjoyed it, it distracted me massively and cooled me down. The other day was in the wind  (and rain too for that matter) - that wasn’t quite so pleasurable! So lesson learnt, if it’s a windy day I will avoid running down on the seafront.

My motivation to get out there and run has been good, I’m still enjoying it! I’m going to make a new playlist to keep me motivated for the week ahead and I’ll hopefully have nicer weather to run in! Wish me luck for week 3!!
