Habits I Want To Build
Apparently it takes 10 weeks to fully form a habit so I've made a little list of habits I would like to build! They should be easy enough to form into just regular, daily things I do if I stay persistent over the next few weeks so please send any tips/motivation my way!
ESTABLISH AN EFFECTIVE SKINCARE ROUTINE
I am forever trying new products on my skin in the hope that I will find a miracle cure to all my skin issues, however, I know my skin behaves best when I just stick to a simple, regular routine. I need to do some research into what products would suit my skin best and then just be vigilant and stick with it! Now, more than ever, I need to start this as my skin is having a complete freak out - hello spots...
DRINK MORE WATER
It's a no brainer! I go through phases of being pretty good but recently I've been slacking and it shows. My concentration and tiredness is definitely affected - and as mentioned above, my skin is suffering the most. So this is my little reminder to make sure I'm drinking enough!
FLOSS DAILY
How is such an easy task so difficult to stick to?! It literally takes a minute but I just never seem to keep it up! I'm booking in regular hygienist appointments* so I want to make sure I'm looking after my teeth at home too. Hoping with enough consistency, this habit will stick soon enough and my hygienist will be super proud of me (lol)
*I'm the weirdo who actually enjoys going, anyone else?
REGULAR EXERCISE
I'm running around 3 times a week, but I want to do more and keep it varied so I'm more likely to stick to it. My running goal is to get to 5k in around 30mins but I am concerned that once I get there I will be back to being lazy again so I just want to incorporate some other exercises into my week. Swimming, walks and yoga are all exercises I genuinely enjoy so hopefully this one will be an easy habit to form.

Confession time: I am totally devouring a sausage roll here after my run.. I should probably start eating healthier at some point too... |
STAY IN CONTACT
This might seem like a weird one to some but it's something I really would like to improve on. I feel like time just goes by so quickly at the moment that I don't realise how long it's been since I've checked in on friends and family. I'm also the friend that will completely forget to reply etc. I never used to be like it so I'm hoping this will be another easy habit to form now I've recognised I'm doing it. So any friends reading this... I promise not to be so rubbish x
SPEND LESS MONEY
With buying a house approaching so soon, I really need to properly start saving. This is probably the habit I will find the hardest as I am so used to living my life feeling pretty carefree and generous with my money so tightening my purse strings even further will feel restrictive. I know it will be so worth it once I have my own home (something I have always dreamed of!) but this is where I would completely appreciate anyones tips on how to make saving feel a little less boring. I hope in a few months time I would have successfully nailed this habit and I can then share my tips on how I managed it - fingers crossed!
